1) Arrived NOT new but in an open box which did not include a lens case. I didn't have time to test this lens until Leica sent my M9 back after a recall last month. 2) The lens has poor optical quality. It produces smooth images at almost all f-stops and delivers terrible chromatic aberration, although the manufacturer claims the lens delivers "the lowest chromatic aberration". I don't know if the seller sent me back a "bad apple" or if the problems are systematic. 3) In short, a lens of such poor optical quality is essentially useless. I will ask for a refund or an exchange.
