Review on Nickel Plated SRAM Power Chain II PC 1 by Chris Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

although not perfect and can be difficult to get confused

I have only used these chains on my single speed mountain bike and have put in many hard miles including 60 mile and 6 hour races. A chain you can rely on. It's not very light, but who needs slow, high-torque dropouts that result in little braking on hills? I have used lighter chains for racing in the past and have experienced this. It's really not worth it, that's all I'm saying. Not bad once you get the hang of it and more importantly it's very safe! There is a better version, PC1, which has a nickel-plated finish that is easier to clean. I actually recommend spending the extra money on it, but performance-wise it still works great!
