Excellent quality - a little trick to install

Excellent chain I think the quality is really good. I base mine on my Gary Fisher Simple City, which has a foot brake. Works great - just what I needed to replace a factory original that had stretched quite a bit. Now for a little trick - and thanks to GODDESS for spreading information so quickly on the internet. Because the "main link" of this chain has a bar. I'm thankful for this as I think it will be a breeze but you will have to bend the chain when you snap the (gold item) onto the…

although not perfect and can be difficult to get confused

I have only used these chains on my single speed mountain bike and have put in many hard miles including 60 mile and 6 hour races. A chain you can rely on. It's not very light, but who needs slow, high-torque dropouts that result in little braking on hills? I have used lighter chains for racing in the past and have experienced this. Does exactly what the chain is supposed to do, easy to fit

This is the second PC-1 chain I'm using in my commuter car, the first lasted about 2 years at 30% daily use on mine 4 miles drive in one end. ride in any weather. I'm guessing 2000 miles and I probably would have replaced it a few hundred miles ago if I had checked the chainring. The bike lives inside but is parked outside at work.
