I like that they are compact and easy to pack in my suitcase. With a universal socket, they also accept my UK, Hong Kong and US devices. The fact that they have ground contact is a double bonus. Firstly, unlike the US, where there are no grounded outlets, this is the standard in Australia and New Zealand, meaning all your grounded appliances are grounded. Second, even if your device doesn't require a ground pin, the extra attachment point greatly reduces the chances of the adapter falling out of the wall (especially with some of those heavy transformer plugs). It all costs less than three dollars. The piece is also priced easily for me to recommend.
