Review on Outlaw Helmets T68 Glossy Black by Darius Newberry

I ordered the Outlaw Helmets T68 Men's and Women's Motorcycle Half Helmet in Gloss Black, DOT Approved. First, it doesn't fit at all. It is also designed to give the impression that a giant mushroom cap is growing on your head. The limiter (chin strap) sucks and the little red snaps don't fit together well, it's almost impossible to snap them in place when the helmet is on. The helmet is (DOT) US FMVSS #218 stamped on the outside, but inside there is NO DOT tag under the balaclava. I showed the helmet to a friend who is certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and she told me it was NOT a real DOT helmet. No wonder it was made in Taiwan and if I had known that from the product description I would not have bought it in the first place. Finally, it has to have a flip-down visor, which is a huge plus for me, and there is NO visor at all. I would like to add that Revain handled both the purchase and the return situation very well. All faults lie with the manufacturer.
