Review on Dexter P94813 Narrow Fillet Knife: Precision and Versatility in an 8-Inch Blade by Marcus Akram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A knife for the best in cutlery and knife accessories

I fish a lot and have tried over two dozen different fillet knives. Dexter is the best. I use this knife for salmon and walleye crappie, there are a lot of those. it's fun at work. This knife is just the right sharpness: just enough to open the fish easily and not too sharp to cut the skin when skinning. It has the correct conical curved position for the skin. what does that mean) it's just the right length for a precise back cut and skin removal and doesn't feel too long to challenge your wrist. The handle is comfortable and easy to sharpen with steel. it's cheap as a bargain. It even puts 5 times more shame on many other brands of double-triple filleting knives.
