I tried this yesterday and it worked very well. I checked my tire, 30.5", 245/70/17, deflated to 20psi with my gauge. The pump connected to the tire and the pump gauge read 20psi. Turn it on and timed to pump the tire Inflating back to 36 psi It took about 2 minutes and 40 seconds to refill.The gauge on the pump reads about 2-4psi as it inflates the tire.When the gauge read 40psi square inches I turned on the pump off and it showed 36psi.. checked the tire pressure with my regular pressure gauge and it showed 36psi when inflating the tire and for 15-30 minutes later it should have worked for 15 minutes I think it could burn you pump.
