Review on Yamaha 5ETW003B0000 Fork Seal Kit by Marcus Barlow

Fixed leak but excessive sticking. Recommend SKF Seals

I bought these to replace a leaking fork seal. Oil streaks were visible on the rack. After installing it at a reputable landing gear shop, the leak problem was fixed. When I sit on the bike there is no sag at all. If I press down on the forks and measure the sag and compare that to when I tighten the forks and measure the sag (actually measuring the grip) the difference is an inch and a half. It's crazy! As a result, there are no small bumps on the front. Yes, my forks are aligned correctly. After digging around the internet, this seems to be a fairly common problem. Problem with floor seals. SKF makes special low friction oil seals (at an additional cost of course) which I will be using in the future. a lot of. Anyway, if you're rebuilding your fork, I recommend SKF seals. I gave 3 stars because it fixed the oil leak but the suspension doesn't work as well as before.
