The problem with those bulky ulocks is the lack of convenient storage options. The most inconvenient is to put it in a backpack when cycling. Fortunately, the clamping system seems secure enough. The problem was that the bolts that came with it didn't fit my Trek road bike frame. Either too short or too long. A long screw is a safety hazard and may cause injury.
