With practice it works

other than the cable which is on the short side it's a great all purpose solution to saving my bike it just takes time to learn how to lock it up effectively .

Pros
  • It's fun
Cons
  • Some problems

Quick Storage Mod

The problem with those bulky ulocks is the lack of convenient storage options. The most inconvenient is to put it in a backpack when cycling. Fortunately, the clamping system seems secure enough. The problem was that the bolts that came with it didn't fit my Trek road bike frame. Either too short or too long. A long screw is a safety hazard and may cause injury. Solution: Use a Chicago Philips screw stand. Add extra rubber grommets for durability. If you found this tip useful, click the Vote…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

But I read online that it's better for safety reasons (harder to get a good angle with a grinder). Well, last weekend there was a "robbery" of bikes in the building's garage. My husband's bike…
