Review on Keeper 07203 Waterproof Cargo Cubic by Jeff Ross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what we needed!

Advantages: - Plenty of space. The cargo bag contained 2 very large suitcases that were overstuffed, a light stroller, boots, life jackets, 2 packs of Girl Scout cookies and god knows what else. It took us about 10 minutes to attach it to the roof of the minivan using the luggage rack. - Weather protection. We've ridden in all kinds of weather, including heavy rain, and haven't had any issues with leaks. We squeezed everything we could into this piece, and while it was difficult to zip up because it was so stuffed, we don't see any signs of excessive wear, such as tears. B. stretched seams seen. - Reliable. I was concerned about having this in the vehicle when stopping to shop or eat. Luckily, the basic Masterlock padlock fit through the zips, so we didn't have to worry about anyone gaining access to what was in the bag. - Storage. We could easily fold it up and put it back in the storage box so it didn't take up much space that we don't have in the garage. Cons: - Access: if you need anything. On the go, be prepared to unbuckle any straps, especially if there is something in the front of the bag. That was really the only downside as we needed something in the cargo bag a few times and it wasn't easy to get. a task. The only other downside I can really think of is that it reduced our gas mileage. But I think any extra cargo bag will do. While I can't say it's a scam, I felt like sometimes when we were driving at high speeds (75+ mph on freeways) it wasn't the safest thing to do. As far as we could tell it never loosened, rose or even shifted, but I worried about that. We will be using this on all of our long distance trips because it freed up space in the van which made us all more comfortable.
