I used it to measure distance to multiple targets. And I also used it for rough measurements for planning purposes. Pretty decent optics and it gives a sharp image. The object speed feature is pretty cool too. I wish it was easier to get the batteries. Or a more common size. So make sure you can get a few of these. But it uses so little power that I haven't had to replace the battery yet. You can't go wrong with this fine device.
