I have 60 year old cast iron pans that I inherited and have been using for 40 years. Without a doubt, this is the best cast iron scrubber I have ever used. It cleans all foods without spoiling spices; even picks up some baked bits from the past. I especially like that the pans stay smooth after scrubbing because the chain scrubber cleans them in hot, soap-free water. Then I put them on a hot stove to dry and disinfect them. The scrubber itself is easy to clean with liquid dish detergent. I use it on my professional stainless steel pans with liquid soap and it cleans them thoroughly too. This is a great product and it was a great surprise to find it after so many years!
