I had no idea carbon batteries existed and that many low-drain devices like clocks require such a battery. Beware folks as many products are made in China and use different standards. You used to just buy ordinary alkaline batteries, but not anymore. Surprisingly, several items that I thought were broken after replacing the batteries with these carbon ones like they are in my other watches now work. Really odd why they never stressed the need for this type of battery for things like this. In any case, they are sold at a great price for a pack of 8. I will update the durability but for now 5 stars. 😉👍
