Surprisingly the threads on the extension do not mate properly with the internal threads on the Vittoria latex hose! I tried to win a conti whistle and it's a little bit better but not by much! It's obvious that the threads on this extension aren't cut properly. I'll admit it's "close" and when the threads are fully "snapped" the o-ring will likely allow it to hold air. But for the first few turns, the extension cord will amazingly "move” and pull out without unscrewing it. Obviously not the right thread. After a few more turns it seems to be holding the shaft and the rubber o-ring will probably allow it to hold air. or maybe just until the thing pops with peak pressure, like a big bump. I was shocked!
