O-ring! That's all it takes to make an extension cord that doesn't leak. I will never use any other brand again. It's a really simple concept, I don't know why everyone doesn't do it that way.

I bought these for my new 88mm wheels for my upcoming Ironman 70.3 race. It took me a few hose changes on both bikes before I realized that those damn leaky valves were the source of the problem during my race. I would consider other valve extensions.

If you remove this from the valve stem, no o-ring is supplied. This has happened to 2 of my 4. I'll probably lose the other 2 as well. If I had known that I would have just bought new tubes with longer stems. I've been looking for a tiny o-ring this size and haven't found a replacement yet.

Surprisingly the threads on the extension do not mate properly with the internal threads on the Vittoria latex hose! I tried to win a conti whistle and it's a little bit better but not by much! It's obvious that the threads on this extension aren't cut properly. I'll admit it's "close" and when the threads are fully "snapped" the o-ring will likely allow it to hold air. But for the first few turns, the extension cord will amazingly "move” and pull out without unscrewing it. Obviously not the…
