In my aquariums this lush greenery grew from various species of plants (I learned the truth from Petco a few years ago from my freshly planted aquarium, so I can't remember all the scientific names). I thought of giving them a boost and bought a 500ml bottle first which worked great for the first 2 months and the plants (especially the green moss on the tree stumps) became very lush and green. Nice! All guests have commented on my water green thumb. But then suddenly all the plants began to die within a few weeks (less than two months). The dosage did not change for me (with a syringe I got exactly 3 ml on 30 g of the aquarium), water changes as usual, the fish is the same. It looks like the Flourish Excel Booster has overwhelmed and unbalanced the ecosystem. I have almost the entire 2 liter bottle left, so I'll try to reduce the dosage as there are almost no plants left. I think the green moss is still doing well.
