Not blue; this is the realistic bone color. Mine looks blue because we use blue LEDs to make the blue color of the crabs bright. I have read other reviews which are correct in saying that the picture shown is not entirely accurate. The actual product comes with a set of molars fused side to side and bottom to top. This makes it less realistic. I used a special tool and removed three teeth from each side to make the actual product look more like the photo in the listing. The back of the head (opposite the snout) was mostly closed. I again used my drenmel tool to open it up, more like a crawfish tunnel. The fish will have no problem entering it from either side. In addition, the product is as advertised and looks and works well.
