Here's how it helps numb the gums

For those of you with trigeminal neuralgia, the ability to numb the gums before brushing is very handy and helps reduce the pain of brushing. This brush is an approach to applying pain relief fluid. It would be nice to have it reusable; Getting anesthetic fluid is very expensive. Not sure why.
