We were looking for a turntable that wouldn't empty the bank and literally break after a few uses. Looking through the reviews, we found this device with built-in speakers, which is one less thing when we're gaming in the kitchen. The wood is comfortable to the touch and feels when examined but not too heavy. So far we've listened to our small collection of 45rpm vinyl records and have been impressed with the sound quality and playback of this turntable. It would be nice if you could connect an external speaker. An extra needle and warranty card were included, which we didn't expect. Conclusion: If you are looking for the best turntable for the money, then this is it. The dust cover and needle arm are fixed, and the speaker covers feel solid. We are pleasantly surprised by this machine!
