Great price great functionality

I decided to buy these to improve the sag and overall ride quality of my truck. I have a 2004 Silverado LS Extended Cab truck. He has a Belltech reset kit. It's lowered 2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear. Overall the truck is flat but I have a fiberglass tarp so it sags very little due to the weight. Anything I put in my back makes it worse. I was happy with the shock absorbers, they turned out to be larger in diameter than expected. I've added some photos to compare the size of the old damper to the new one. Installation wasn't difficult. The instructions aren't great, but if you've ever replaced anything in a car, you can replace the shock absorbers. I really advise having the right tools, I had to find a small bar so I have more leverage to loosen the screws. Other than that, the only issue I had was that the valve stems were short and went deep instead of a valve. The inflation pump I have doesn't put any pressure on the valve stem, so it doesn't draw air. I plan to fix this by cutting the valves off to allow the inflator to reach farther and hook onto the valve stem. Reading other comments it seems like other people have the same problem. You may be able to unscrew the valve stem, but when I tire it out it lets air through. I wanted to try connecting the hoses to the Firestone air knife I installed on the truck, but the air hoses on the shocks are very small. I was surprised at how thin the tubing he uses is. I'll have to see if I can find some reducers to even consider connecting to a gauge. However, don't expect them to quickly inflate like airbags. There will be no fast air, but they will be air.
