Easy install and great performance

They were easy to install and work great. I'm towing a 6000 pound trailer with a 1500 Silverado 2WD. Tongue weight felt a little too heavy, but with 150 pounds of shock pressure, it rides great.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Doubt

need better quality control.

The first set was installed two days later, both shock absorbers leaked oil and one also leaked air. Shock absorbers sent back, new kit installed from Amazon, after a day the shock absorbers were leaking, got a spray bottle with washing-up liquid, shock absorbers were fine, air line had two leaks. went to the parts store and bought a new duct set with all the brass fittings. no more leaks for a week.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No instructions

Ideal for towing: Shock absorbers

Ideal for leveling a truck for towing. The last shock absorbers sagged due to age under the load of the tongue. Received it as a replacement and no problems. I had one that I could pull with my hands to expand. One was kind of stuck, but dyno testing and fills allow it to expand. You need to find a gauge that can read up to 200psi as that is the maximum it can handle. I set it at 40psi for everyday use and it's a lot softer.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Defects

Hope they check sooner.

.sell again. I bought it thinking why not save a few bucks. When I opened the box I found that they were clearly installed on the vehicle with the hoses pulled from the fittings. And the box was missing a lot of parts, like the parts needed to connect the hoses to something. Obviously it was a return but instead of inspecting it to make sure it was 'good for sale' it was clearly delivered. shelf for sale. Needless to say, they're getting back to those upheavals again. From now on I ONLY buy new

Perfect for spares

Just bought these for my 1994 motorhome. It is based on a Dodge 3500 chassis. The rear began to fail over the years. It came with a set of airbags to support the weight and length of the unit. They couldn't keep up his level. These shocks could easily restore the plus level. All in all I am a happy camper! (pun intended) I would recommend these to anyone who needs extra lift for pickups etc. I've used them on other vehicles for years, so I'm very familiar with this product. The shock absorbers…

Great little shock absorbers, perfect for my long platform 03 Sierra 4x4!

Great shocks for the price. I recently bought a 2003 Sierra with 94,000 miles on it. The truck is generally in excellent condition but as you can imagine it has stood still for a while so a few things needed repairing. My rear shocks were very rusty (well, for a southern car) and this truck had a choke at freeway speeds and very poor braking at almost any speed over 35. (Rotors and pads are fine). immediately decided and my back stopped sagging. The truck drives, brakes and tows perfectly! For…

Great price great functionality

I decided to buy these to improve the sag and overall ride quality of my truck. I have a 2004 Silverado LS Extended Cab truck. He has a Belltech reset kit. It's lowered 2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear. Overall the truck is flat but I have a fiberglass tarp so it sags very little due to the weight. Anything I put in my back makes it worse. I was happy with the shock absorbers, they turned out to be larger in diameter than expected. I've added some photos to compare the size of the

Don't waste your money

I put them on my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 to straighten the back of my truck when I was using a car transporter. When I bought them the window saying they would or wouldn't fit in your car indicated they would. Why should I buy something that doesn't fit or doesn't fit? Now the window says they won't! The shock absorbers fit my truck perfectly and were easy to install. Took about 15,000 miles to install and they have seemed to perform very well for the past few years. I only used the car…
