Stuck in a nasty past where you had to carry a key fob AND a nasty old key!? I was too, now look at me. I bought a keychain and my life just got a lot easier! Wow! Seriously yes I have a Camaro and it came with a keychain and a key and I hated carrying both. POOH! I know it was a security issue but I think it should be left to the buyer. In any case, this key fob is supplied with a blank key already inserted. Take it to your trusted key engraver (not a home storage kiosk, be proud folks, it's your car). Mine copied and programmed in minutes for $45. I give it 3 stars because the build quality is second hand. They use the same plastics and materials, but the internal switch doesn't appear to have been cut properly. From time to time the key will not fully retract. And when I close it I have to close it about 4 times before it finally clicks. So choose battles. giggle
