Review on HBTower 12.5 FT Telescoping Ladder With 2 Triangle Stabilizers: Lightweight, Durable, And Versatile For RV Or Outdoor Work by Logan Barela

Not Great for Cold Weather

Let me start by saying I used this ladder in cold weather to put up lights. It might function differently inside or in warmer weather. That said, as I went to put up Christmas lights this ladder was scary. The plastic pieces that release each rung are a harder plastic and didn't want to snap in place, it felt shakey. It wasn't as solid as others have said. When the rungs did release, they slammed down so hard I was afraid I'd lose a finger. Even on it's side and you try to glide it in place, it's too much.On top of it all, every time I use this ladder I end up with a greasy/oily substance on my hands and whatever the ladder touches. (See picture). It stinks so bad and takes hours to get rid of! It just soils everything and stinks.I wanted to love this ladder but it doesn't work well in the cold and the grease to keep the plastic moving gets on everything. The metal is solid but the plastic doesn't seem to have any sort of longevity. Not great.
