These are high quality end mills. I first tested this end mill on aluminum and it cut very well. I was able to increase the feed by 75 percent. Then I switched to 1018 steel and it cut like clockwork. Holds sharp edges very well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality carbide end mills for steel.
