We wanted to place the most commonly used spices in the best spot to avoid the pesky spice drawer as much as possible. At first I thought the capacity wouldn't be enough, but to be honest 16 bottles was perfect. It doesn't take up much desk space and I love that it rotates. I used a labeler to put the names of the spices on the lids. I wish the holes were a bit bigger because some of the larger condiments like red pepper flakes won't go through them, but that's no big deal because you can just push them out!
