The advert still says 'Relaxed Fit' but it's a classic fit (and you can even see it in one of the photos. They fit comfortably though ) .I usually wear a 9.5 but my feet are a little wider than average. Unfortunately the options are limited to wide or "E" shoes so I bought them in 10's. The upper helps them conform to my wider feet a bit more than other materials, so they suit me. The taupe color is as close to white as possible. The shoes also have a relatively flat sole - not much arch or raised heel like some shoes. That makes them more comfortable for me personally. If the shoes become uncomfortable for me, I usually know within 10 minutes or less. They didn't need to be 'broken in', although I expect them to be a little loose when worn, so they will shrink but remain comfortable. My favorite E-Skechers are the Citywalk Elendo Oxfords, but unfortunately they don't wear them in white anymore.
