I took these to a "bowling" themed festival as decorations. They turned out to be a big hit with the kids, who gave them hours of heavy use.The material is thicker than I expected. The set comes with a hand pump to blow them up; we used both the pump and traditional lung power. Either method works fine, but can be a bit challenging as the valves are very good at preventing reverse flow and have to be pinched properly to allow air flow in.The pins have a weighted disk in the bottom, which keeps them upright until bowled over by the not-to-scale ball.This set took a fair amount of abuse, including from children who used the ball like a yoga ball and the pins like fighting clubs. After an entire day of use, the whole set was still in tact the next morning!
