Just finished wrapping and finishing my full size long cab Ford F350. It's a long truck! I washed, clayed (with this clay alternative) and then topcoated with F11. As an alternative to clay, I have to give 5 stars here. It is not as effective as plasticine, but lighter than plasticine; I will stick with using this product. I used Chemical Guys Spray Clay Lube and the combination worked really well. I particularly like that the spray lubricant is easy to wash off. I agree with others that you shouldn't press hard on this clay pad as you can scratch the finish with small pieces that get stuck in the clay like surface. It's much more forgiving than clay, if you hit a dry spot on the surface it won't slide anymore, but won't stick or leave traces like clay. I've also used it on my glass, which I've never done with clay. Well! For my next test I will use soapy water and then rinse. I will post another update after a few uses to give an idea of the lifespan of the product. F11 was my first mission. I like the lightness and the shine. Note: Does not clean, only coats. If you rub it on a water stain, you will have a shiny water stain. We'll have to see how it holds up over time.
