I bought this for one reason: my Sharp Roku TV can't Connect via Wi-Fi and has no Ethernet port. I bought a TV on sale and I think I got what I paid for. It always had this weird thing where it kept shutting down and restarting when I first turned it on. I've learned to turn it on and then step back for 10 minutes so the TV can figure it out and then it stays on and works fine, just no wifi. Which is honestly fine because I can access Netflix or whatever on other devices (PS4, FireTV, etc.). But I bought it hoping that I could at least get the TV to stop freaking out about not having an internet connection. AND. IT WORKS. After plugging in this adapter and doing a factory reset, it no longer keeps turning off within 10 minutes. It still can't use Netflix because it wants to "activate" itself before allowing me to use apps and it only lets me activate over Wi-Fi, which doesn't work. But other than that the TV works great and I've had a headache with this TV for over 3 years. For anyone wanting to use it on a Roku TV - it works! Depending on the model, you may not be able to activate your TV via Ethernet. but otherwise the TV should work normally.
