I loved the heat, worked great to keep my beagle puppy warm in his outside home in 18 degree weather and a snow storm. Unfortunately, he chewed on the cable's protective black coating and luckily couldn't get to the wire. My puppy (7 months old) also removed a white heating pad from the blue case and punctured it with his teeth, it no longer works. I wish it was more durable and had a child proof zipper. If your dog doesn't chew a lot, then this would be great for you!
