Recently purchased nylon straps with flat plastic ratchets. They have worked well and I wear them regularly. When I decided to buy another pair I went with these and took a chance with a different type of clasp. I'm glad I did because these metal clasps are still comfortable, lay flat, and stay put all day. I'm concerned about the plastic clips on my other belts breaking, but I'm sure these will last a long time.
