UPDATE: 6/25/20. I found that I still have some of that thread from last October, stored in a plastic bag with desiccant sachets. Thought I'd use it and it still printed great. Load it into my custom hypercube, at a nozzle temp of 203* and 50* on the bed, and make a nearly flawless Maori statue. ------------------ -- Original Review October 2019: Love this thread a lot. This is the first time I've printed with one of the Silk PLAs and I like the results it gives. I'm using this on a CR-10S 400 with a standard hotend and a Petsfang air duct with a 5015 fan at 90%. I print this at 203 degrees on the nozzle and 58 on the bed with great results. I know many people print PLA at higher temperatures (210+), but I seem to get the best results at lower temperatures. For reference, regular black PLA prints fine at 196 degrees. My speed is 30mm/s for walls and 40mm/s for everything else. Of course I'm not going to break any speed records, but my prints are very clean. Very happy with it - will definitely try more colors from DO3D.
