Review on 🔍 Spectre Performance Accucharge Filter Kit 884820 by Juan Huerta

I bought this baby because I have several cars with oiled cotton air filters that need to be cleaned and oiled fairly regularly. This kit you have is just below par in every way that allows you to compare such a product to its competitors. The cleaning solvent is extremely inefficient and practically does not clean the filters. I have cleaned the filter on my bike several times according to the instructions in the box and it still looks very dirty. I then cleaned the same filter ONCE with K&N Filter Cleaner and not only did it completely clean the filter but it produced dark gray water when flushed meaning the Accucharge solvent did little to remove the dirt from the filter. Oil is also noticeably poorer in quality. Not only is it uncolored (yes, that's a cosmetic issue, but the packaging shows conventional color filters, which is misleading as almost all cotton filters are white and get their color from a dye in oil). The oil is also very thin and seems to either dry out or soak out of the material very quickly. After lubricating the filters on my Harley, they dried out completely in about 4 days on a 150 km ride.
