I completed this repair within 3 days. Job 1 is dry, job 2 is dry, job 3 is dry. grinding and polishing. As you can see from the photos the original hole is large and wet inside as it is a shower stall. I cleaned it up and dried the problem area with a hair dryer for a while until the inserted paper towel was no longer damp. The last photo shows the finished product after sanding and polishing. It looks like a filling in a tooth, but prevents water from entering. I didn't expect it to fit so it's not a problem for me. I doubt you'll be able to get hold of a repair system suitable for your repair area, but unfortunately you may be more experienced than me. Summary: I have repaired this spot several times using different brands of repair systems. All including this one appear to be two part epoxies but I have to say this one has no smell. Previous repairs lasted from 9 months to a year before decaying. Time will tell. This one was a bit thin which initially seemed like a problem but after getting used to it I found it a good feature as it seeped into the crevices so maybe it works better than the others. For now I feel this is a good product. If I run into any problems in the future I will update this review.
