Solid gaming mobile with RGB elements

Solid mobile overall. Has some weight and feels like learning and a bonus. Installation went without problems. The BIOS is easy to navigate, and things like enabling XMP or detecting voltages don't take long. Updating the BIOS was also very easy. The RGB color is subtle but noticeable. The RGB software is easy to use, but I'm not sure how much I like their color schemes yet. Several unsuccessful attempts to overclock the memory and it has not been able to recover on its own. Had to remove the CMOS battery to boot. You'll have to remove the GPU to get to the CMOS battery, but there's nothing complicated here. I doubt the official retail price, it seems to me that it should be in the $150-160 category, but it's not much more. and I've noticed a few sales since I bought it. I chose this mobo because what I wanted was out of stock. Update 1/10/2021: The Mobo I/O shield was slightly bent on one of the edges, but I don't think that mattered much as there could be a gap in millimeters between the top right corner of the I/O shield and the chassis. The PC kept shorting out causing crashes and reboots and I didn't realize it was due to the setup not being properly grounded. Any light shining on the table or connecting objects from behind can also cause a restart. I'll take the entire rig apart and make sure the struts are installed correctly, but I'll probably come back for a replacement. Mistake. All is well.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
