It worked right after I assembled the system with 3900x and 1080ti. Everything easily overclocked, perfect board for gaming. Startup is a bit slow but who cares. Had an Asus 570x and it was such a bummer that didn't boot properly, crashed in OC, sent it back and pre-ordered this board, no regrets.

I recently switched to this motherboard from a B450 Tomahawk Max in anticipation of the new Zen 3 release. I loved my B450 and love my new B550. All the features that made the b450 great are also present in the b550. The bios is easy to use, the location of the connectors on the board is accessible. I really like how many fan headlines you get from this board. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a Zen 3 motherboard.

Everything works fine. The only thing is that there are not enough USB ports. There are 5 USB ports and 1 TYPE-C port in total. I mean the Type C port is cool but it would be great if they added at least 2 more USB 3.0 ports. 2 ports are automatically used by your mouse/keyboard, leaving you only 3 ports except for the TYPE-C port. Solid mobile overall. Has some weight and feels like learning and a bonus. Installation went without problems. The BIOS is easy to navigate, and things like enabling XMP or detecting voltages don't take long. Updating the BIOS was also very easy. The RGB color is subtle but noticeable.
