I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX V6. The reason I decided to replace the fuel pump is because sometimes my car won't start. At first I suspected the starter. Recently the battery was replaced with a new top battery, I felt the starter was weak (17 year old car) and replaced it with a new starter (won't hurt as it has reached end of life). The hesitation returned, leading me to believe the fuel pump was the problem - I can't say for sure, but at one point I thought about replacing the pump. I ordered an HFP-382 fuel pump as the Honda OEM pump is quite expensive. . Thanks to Revain Prime I received the pump within two days. The packaging itself was pretty good, a typical large box with a well protected box containing the product itself. The box with the product contains everything that is shown in the picture and the seller has done a good job of representing what is in the box. The swap on this particular vehicle is very easy, watch the YouTube video for detailed instructions, fold the rear seat over to access the pump housing in the trunk, loosen 3 bolts to access the pump housing, the eight 8mm screws can be opened. Before starting the process, disconnect the battery, open the gas cap and leave it for 5 minutes. The OEM screen is twice the size of the HFP screen. The small rectangular screen in the box is the one I ended up using, the OEM screen is exactly twice the length, I originally thought I would use the existing screen but it was quite orange and the new white screen really has me tried to use it cleanliness. I ended up using a new smaller screen. The black hose that connects to the case was longer than the OEM so I used an existing OEM that looked brand new. Other than the strainer and pump I didn't use anything else in the packaging as it is a one size fits all. I assumed the seller provided these other parts for different configurations. After installing everything to the car, I primed the pump (turning the key to the ON position without starting the car). I did that ten times and then started the car, everything worked as expected and the car started. I drove, felt the car became smoother and more responsive, I think it's definitely a psychological feeling :-) I took the car for a test drive, everything works smoothly, time will tell if there are any . Side effect of the smaller filter. Overall, I was very satisfied and everything about this car was just right. I give it 5 stars even though the screen wasn't sized exactly, I think it's literally impossible to fit all car models as there can be differences. I would appreciate if the seller could leave a comment if there is a problem with a smaller filter. Assuming this pump lasts a long time I would buy this product and from this seller in a heartbeat.
