Got this for a 2015 Subaru Forester. (I also have an F105S for a 2003 Forester so I pretty much have the same rating there too) I do my own oil changes and when I do I always have oil on hand. Splashes with oil, but at least I don't. So I replaced the oil plug with this and it's much cleaner and easier now. The clip keeps the tab in place so I don't think it accidentally opens. By the way, the 2015 Forester has the oil filter on top of the cylinder block, so with this valve I can change the oil without having a drop of oil on my hand. I think this works better than my 03 Forester. I have the S model because the long nipple is easier to damage and no nipple allows me to use hoses. If I hook up a tube (with an SH-10 tube socket) and point it into an empty pitcher, I don't even need an oil pan. As long as I like it
