Does what it should.

Bracket itself is not bad. It's durable and looks good. BUT get new gear! This is rubbish, I literally broke the head of one of the bolts. It does not come with lock washers. My bolts came loose due to my gravel road. Get good quality #8 or #10 screws and lock washers from a hardware store.
