Of course, we won't know whether that's a good thing until the thief checks it, but. looks very well made to me. I don't seem to have space to rip it off. I'm REALLY pleased that it's durable, has a good fit and finish, and fits snugly in my hitch. Mechanism still works perfectly. I highly recommend this item to keep your trailer/RV safe. Oh I think that's COMPLETELY fake when people reject this item because it doesn't fit as it's their fault for not buying the right one for their hitch. Do your homework and get the right one.
