I have a 2012 Ram 1500 and my neighbor does too. His back door was stolen right out of the truck in the driveway because he got tired of manually locking and unlocking it with the extra key Dodd gives him. It was the perfect solution to our problem. It was very easy to install and works every time I lock and unlock my doors with the key fob. The only problem I had after installing it was that I could unlock it but not lock it. So I contacted the manufacturer. They instructed me to reconnect the two wires on the side that connects to the wires behind my cockpit fairing. After that it's been working great ever since. Installation took less than an hour and the instructions were very simple.
