🔒 Secure your Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 with POP & LOCK PL8350 Power Tailgate Lock Review

Installed today on a 2010 Ram 1500 Crew Cab. Installation was fairly easy until it came time to wire up the trucks. For those wondering: Blue -> Tan with Purple Green -> Tan with Orange Wires were found just under the parking brake under the kickpad. I checked the wires by tracing the colored wires that go to the driver's side passenger door latch. Now the tailgate locks and unlocks along with the rest of the truck, and I've kept the one-click unlocking feature for the driver only.

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 and my neighbor does too. His back door was stolen right out of the truck in the driveway because he got tired of manually locking and unlocking it with the extra key Dodd gives him. God but it was fun to install. It probably took twice as long as I thought. It turns out that the 2012 Ram has two wires with a brown and white stripe in the harness. Who would have thought that. After tripping over another cable and plugging it in, it still didn't work. All door locks worked except for the tailgate.
