Review on 🔒 Secure your Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 with POP & LOCK PL8350 Power Tailgate Lock by Juice Jali

This is a very easy item to install but the instructions are confusing. After realizing that the wiring part was causing trouble for everyone including me, I decided to go the other way. You should know that I did everything else including installing the drive and routing the cables in the cabin. All that's left is finding the right wires to connect. This only works on trucks with 4 lockable doors. After hours of trying to find someone with a photo, I basically decided to pull out the B-pillar and tailgate trim to trace the wires. I found at my 2014 Cummins cab dealership that there are 4 wires going to the latch actuator. Green/Blue, (2) OL/Green and Black. I traced the bundle of wires to the rack and unplugged the connector on the inside of the rack. I thought I only needed to narrow 4 wires so I started color matching and luckily found the two I needed on the first try. . I chose Green/Blue and Blue instead of Purple/Green as you can see in a photo and when I pushed the unlock button my tailgate locked and everything else unlocked. So in the later image you can see that it has changed from blue to green. /blue and green to purple/green. Then I bent the wire a bit so I could connect to the leads. And hid everything back in rack b. Finally I plugged it back in and pressed the lock button and everything worked as it should. It works great, just with terrible instructions.
