I'm from a very old school where we put grease on the palm area and then take bearings and scrape them down and over the lubricated areas until they're filled with grease all the way around both Pages. That makes it a lot easier. Fill the bottom with enough grease to coat the bearings, place the new or old bearing on top of the grease and push the piston down. Take it out and flip it over and repeat. Easy to fill bearings. Too bad I didn't have that earlier when we were filling camp.
