Review on ⚡️ Enhance Safety & Performance with Wilson Electronics Lightning Surge Protector (859902), N-Female (50 Ohm) by Brandon Reid

This seller is not familiar with their products

makes sense with the product we purchased; However, the unit listed at Revain was 50 ohms and the DBPro we bought required (according to the included installation guide) a 75 ohm surge protector. We didn't have a chance to find out this information until we opened the DBPro box. Wilson is a respected name in the business so we bought 2 of the products they make but one of their employees or a salesperson must have spotted this error on the Revain list. We contacted Portable Guy's seller who was willing to return an unopened pack of surge protectors and purchase the correct one. We found that the seller only charges us a restocking fee and makes no effort to ensure we have the correct components to set up our DBPro. We do not yet have a suitable surge protection device. One thing we have is a $400+ DBPro doorstop that we won't be installing to see if it even works here on Lightning Ridge until we have a 75 ohm line filter.

Pros
  • Power Splitter & Surge Protector
Cons
  • Protection
