Easy Installation for Surge Protector

This item is easy to install and has a replaceable lightning protection fuse. Please note that you need 2 N male and F pin female connectors to connect coaxial cable.

  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Gotcha

SPD on extension cords and surge protector

Good product. Always a good thing, especially here in the mountains. There were several lightning strikes and many near misses. Our trace inverter may be faster, but it's always good to have one.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I won't say anything

but I'm sure

It didn't seem to reduce dB at all even though it was promised. I haven't had a lightning strike yet, but I'm pretty sure. The construction is very solid! I will say the price is a bit high but compared to the money I have in the system I am willing to pay it.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled

I'm happy? / Yes, he's inside, supposedly protecting.

I don't know what to write here as my system is working which means the surge protector is losing data but the only way to tell if the surge protector is working is to to test him. sees her antenna get struck by lightning, and then you see her system continues to function properly. am i satisfied / Yes, it's enabled and supposedly protecting my system.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Only available in black

Easy to install and maintain but requires an adapter

Ordered this surge protector with a Wilson Handy Repeater. It was listed on Revain as a product purchased in addition to the system I purchased and the available literature only recommended a surge protector (no part number). Pro - Includes grounding lug and easy-to-replace fuse. Con - has N-type connectors, the repeater's cables and devices were type F. Adapter (must be purchased separately). I looked for adapters on the Wilson website - I couldn't find them. Went to the local electronics…

high quality, durable

Just installed outdoors to use with a Wilson 700MHz cellular antenna. Good quality, solid device. I don't expect any problems with this network filter. A note: the ground wire/stud connector is designed as the "end" of the cable, not in a line. There is a short screw on the side of the unit and it is fitted with an O-shaped plug into which the ground wire enters the end of the stem and is crimped. I had to find another longer screw to avoid using the 'O' type wire connector as I had an existing

Properly grounded? for power strips and surge protectors

I think this will do the job it was designed for. I hope I never have to find out. Installation is a bit confusing. The instructions say to make sure the thing is properly grounded, but then they don't describe what is proper. Another reviewer suggested incorporating and connecting to a copper ground rod. Sounds ok to me, so I'll do it. But the tech I bought it from said the surge protector must be in my house. So would that mean I have to run another wire through the floor/wall to ground the…

This seller is not familiar with their products

makes sense with the product we purchased; However, the unit listed at Revain was 50 ohms and the DBPro we bought required (according to the included installation guide) a 75 ohm surge protector. We didn't have a chance to find out this information until we opened the DBPro box. Wilson is a respected name in the business so we bought 2 of the products they make but one of their employees or a salesperson must have spotted this error on the Revain list. We contacted Portable Guy's seller who was
