Review on Grafting Gardening Knife For Budding Pruning With Grafting Tape And Plant Labels/Tree Tags by Jonathan Cartwright

Good value for price

This is not a great knife. The steel isn't fantastic and the blade locking mechanism leaves something to be desired for those of us outside the UK who are allowed to own knives with real safety features. However, you aren't going to find much better at a price like this, which is what I was aiming for. I just used it today to trunk graft some willow cuttings together to make what should eventually be a nice thick-trunked bonsai and it worked fine. I don't expect it to hold up for a long time, but if you're just starting out in a gardening/arborist hobby then buying tools to last has a good chance to be a waste of money anyway. Know what you're buying, but if you're a beginner then seriously consider this. I know my way around knives but this hobby is new to me, so I decided not to spend too much and this seems like good value for your money.
