Original review left unchanged, written at the time of purchase: Filters are compact and easy to change. But you have to keep record of when you change it because it doesn't tell you when its done. Also, it would be nice if the faucet could have the handle go the other way (mine is awkward where it ended up on the sink). But I love that it's not an RO system which wastes so much water.Revised after 6months and first filter change: first of all, it did have a filter change alarm which I never knew about - the manuals are incomplete and not helpful for troubleshooting. I got the genuine aquasana replacement filters and the water just stopped. I had no water for a week before I came across other reviews saying Aquasana support actually suggested the filters don't always fit right and try putting a coin under it to keep it pressed up in the gasket. After several such attempts with different sizes under each of the filters I finally coerced it into working. But this is unacceptable engineering as well as poor customer service. Shame on you Aquasana.
