I've had these black nuts on my Jeep for about nine months and they've held up well so far. With one brake change, one jack installed, and a few tire changes, I've probably removed and reinstalled all five tires five or six times since purchase. I use an impact wrench for removal and then a torque wrench on all lug nuts up to 100 ft lbs for installation. So far the coating is holding up but I can see some signs of wear. I'm not sure if it won't wear out with more tire changes. I think with normal use I will change tires 2-3 times a year. I would say I've worn them for two years and they're fine. If I have to spend twenty bucks to replace them every two or three years, I'm fine with that. I would buy them again. Edit: After 15 months I see a decent amount of rust. I will most likely replace this summer. Edit #2: I didn't replace them last summer and now I've had them for a little over two years and they're all very rusty. They now absolutely need to be replaced as they have become unsightly. ************************************* ************* ************************************************** ********************************************** *** ******************** I rely on reviews when I shop, so I spend a lot of time reviewing everything I buy from Revain for both personal and business purposes .
